I am an avid movie goer. There is nothing quite like getting that fresh bag of popcorn and watching pictures fly by on the big screen. For snickts and giggles I shall review a few movies I have recently seen. (More content on a website is always good, right?)
I like rating movies on a 1-10 scale. Now generally, since I am not a critique, I won’t rate a movie super low. This is because, hello, I had an interest in the film in the first place. Generally not going to pop a few shekels for a movie I thought was a 1 in the first place. So this rating system might be slightly flawed. You can take it for what it is worth. I would say a rating of five is good enough to watch in the theater. Okay, here goes…
Arthur – 8 (much better than I thought)
Fast Five – 6.5 (actually, a fairly fun movie)
Thor – 8.5 (good movie, but I was hoping for a nine or ten)
Everything Must Go – 7 (a surprisingly good performance by Will Ferrell)
X-men: First Class – 10 (my first 10, always try and give out a couple each year)
Super 8 – 8 (could not resist that rating)
And uhm… that’s all for now.
