Rick “arrives” to a mysterious planet. Since this comic strip has a long way to go, it is fairly safe to assume Rick will survive this landing. I think no “CRASH” sound effect is a good thing for him.

The advice in the personal log is helpful to remember when you’re driving a car, too!
Ha, true, if you are out of the drivers seat and the only one in the car then that is probably not a good situation for all the other vehicles on the road. 🙂
Splut doesn’t sound good. It sounds like a very mushy planet.
I once heard of a guy who turned on the cruise control of his Winnebago then went into the back to make a coffee. He tried to sue Winnebago because the cruise control failed to steer his motor home along the highway. He didn’t win.
Ha, ha wow. Making coffee. Can’t believe he lost. 🙂
That’s gotta hurt! You can’t leave the wheel!
No matter what you are piloting or driving, never a good idea.
You gotta hand it to Rick, his mistakes are planet-sized!
Yup, that was sort of a big one. You almost have to wonder if he is related to Captain Charlie at times in this tale.
you know, we don’t know Captain Charlie’s last name. It could be Hopper.
Ha, ha that is true it is possible.
That doesn’t sound like a successful crash landing!
I think Rick is quite happy that he did land with a “SPLUT” 🙂
At least “Splut” sounds like a relatively soft, survivable landing. 🙂
Soft landing is good no matter what you are driving or piloting.
